As the Premier League’s Director of Legal Services Kevin has responsibility for all legal and governance issues on behalf of the League. This includes regulatory issues and disputes, commercial contracts and compliance matters, and safeguarding. However, a large part of Kevin’s time since he joined the League in 2007 has been dedicated to anti-piracy and enforcement. That has included securing the first prison sentences for suppliers of Illicit Streaming Devices, the development and implementation of a truly dynamic streaming block in the UK, and the establishment of liability for sever providers of pirate content in the EU. Kevin has been an integral part of the opening of the Premier League’s first international office in Singapore which aims to facilitate further anti-piracy efforts in the APAC region.
