An engineer by profession, Mr. Ashish Shah spent 20 years in the IT Industry before he gave it up all, five years ago, to follow his passion, sports. Mr. Shah is an experienced professional with 25 years of proven track record within the Sports, Information Technology and Insurance industries in: India, USA and Asia Pacific markets.
An MBA and Computer Engineer from Rochester, New York, Mr. Shah started his career with IBM and PepsiCo’s US based offices. He has also worked as the Chief Information Officer in two global Insurance companies’ (Allianz, Chubb) Indian ventures, and was responsible for getting their operations off the ground. He also helped setup India and Middle East operations of a China based Software company, and played a key role in acquisition of clients globally.
He is the present CEO of Delhi Dynamos FC, a Delhi based professional football club, leading its Commercial, Technical, Operational and Football Development Initiatives. Prior to this, he played the Lead role in establishing the professional Football Club, Chennaiyin FC and successfully led them to the Championship title in the 2015 Indian Super League.
He has also established an active lifestyle company, that is in the business of organizing Running Events, Junior Soccer Leagues, and Football academies.
